To all my favorite moms in this world (and you know who you are)

I baked you a cake! It's probably really not fair to show you a picture of it and describe its yumminess in a blog, when you're spread from St Louis to Jacksonville to Connecticut, but hey, it was TOOOO pretty to simply eat. I had to take a picture of it, and what good is a picture if I don't show someone??

And get this: we picked all the strawberries ourselves. Thank GOD for spring in the South! Washington Farms http://www.washingtonfarms.net/ in Oconee County was a great (albeit hot) place to spend a Friday afternoon. Just ask Muff and Kendall.
